Hello lovelies,
The feet are aching; the hands are sore; the ears are ringing; the eyelids are being propped open with matchsticks and I’m chewing coffee grains to stay awake.
It can only be the morning after a Seth gig!
Frome was absolutely fabulous. I was lucky enough to be right next to a bunch of similarly enthusiastic Mirelings (they can only have been Mirelings – no ‘normal’ people would have whooped and danced like that!) and we stomped, sang and clapped ourselves silly.
The venue was great – nice and cosy with parking right outside. Only slight criticism is that they’d put the barrier at the front quite a long way away from Seth and the boys (had they heard about our antics at the Q magazine gig, I wonder?). At one point Mr Lakeman did suggest that we danced on the other side of the barrier. I was half-way over before I realised that he was joking. Dagnammit.
I wish I could tell you what the set was, but I was so over-excited the whole thing went in a blur. Suffice to say that he was bloody brilliant and I actually went physically weak at the knees when he did “I’ll Haunt You”.
*sigh*
BUT the biggest swoon came when, as the boys left the stage for the last time, Seth looked right at me and with a massive smile on his face mouthed the words “I love you”.
*sigh again*
Okay, so perhaps he actually mouthed the words “I love you guys” as he pointed at us foot-stompers at the front – but a girl can dream, can’t she?! Hmmmm?!
The countdown has begun for Regent’s Park. I know it’s bad to wish your life away, but when it’s for Seth surely that makes it alright?!

I know this is a little late in coming but I was at the Frome gig too and had the most incredible time and was very envious when Seth thanked you guys for dancing. Grrrr. Don't know if this will be of use for the next time he plays Frome (let's hope so) but he frequented the Blue Boar before the gig! _________________ Be the change you want to see in the world |
