|
Updated 25/04/2009. Added April Eyes and Look Outside Your Window. Thanks, Kuang.
I've worked out some guitar chords for a few songs by ear, but they're all hidden in the middle of odd threads, so I'm collating them here, so that you singalong strummers of the Mire may find them and hopefully glean some enjoyment from them.
I intend to post here, in this first post, a list of links to Mire threads in which Mirefolk have transcribed songs themselves. It's up to you to post external links if you want to.
Here they are: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Clockspider.jpg
Hang on, wrong text in clipboard. HERE they are!!!:

*Loves teh clockspider* seriously though if you saw those legs sticking out you'd be removing the clock with a pole form the other side of the room.

If i saw that sticking out from behind a clock/picture I have no idea what I'd do!! It would depend if I realised it was spider feet! *shivers at the thought of it* _________________ ***We Make No Shadows We Stand Alone*** |

Yes, I remember the chorus being "that's neat" 8 times before they explained that it was the spider feet that they were on about. _________________ Lord of lords, king of kings, has returned to lead his children home, to take them to the new Jerusalem! |

Now with that one...I think I can help you out
The original tune is a slow air which goes by the name of 'Lament for Owen Roe O'Neill'
I have the sheet music for it if you can't find it on the internet, just PM me your address and I'll send you a copy |

Me too Maymay, it's flies I can't stand!
Then again, while I do like spiders, I still wouldn't throw a party if I found one on my ear. _________________ STARS EXPLODE, WORLDS COLLIDE, THERE'S HARDLY ANYWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE WHERE HUMANS CAN LIVE WITHOUT BEING FROZEN OR FRIED, AND YET YOU BELIEVE THAT A... There is a really big spider at work (I call him Bernard). He (or she, Bernadette) Is trapped next to a light in the false ceiling. I have tried to release him but the unit is sealed. Yes, he is still alive he walks around the unit.
My only thought is that he deserves to live. If the its ugly or I just don't like rule was applied as excuse to kill humans as much as animals I would have been murdered years ag. _________________ http://www.folkagainstfascism.com/ |
